Dedication song to Mom that just passed away from the very rare disease, CJD (human form of the Mad Cow disease) She was diagnosed Sept. 2000 then died within two months later. Definitely she was a 'One in a Million' just like the disease. Song is dedicated to her teachings. As we watched the Television show 'Touched by an Angel' often and waited for the Dove to fly off signifying the end. Mama Don't Worry, Anymore

What is Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease?
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) is a rapidly progressive, invariably fatal neurodegenerative disorder believed to be caused by an abnormal isoform of a cellular glycoprotein known as the prion protein. CJD occurs worldwide and the estimated annual incidence in many countries, including the United States, has been reported to be about one case per million population

As of December 1, 2003, a total of 153 cases of vCJD had been reported in the world: 143 from the United Kingdom, six from France, and one each from Canada, Ireland, Italy, and the United States (note: the Canadian, Irish, and U.S. cases were reported in persons who resided in the United Kingdom during a key exposure period of the U.K. population to the BSE agent).
